FAQ

  • Q: Help! I’d Like a Point Monkey Card! Where can I get one?

    A: Grab a card at any participating PointMonkey location. Check out our Locations map!

  • Q: Can I use my Point Monkey card at every single participating location?

    A: Yup! Gone are the days of having to carry a separate archaic punch card for each of your favourite small businesses. Use your Point Monkey account (Card or App) at any and all of the participating locations.

  • Q: How do I register my card?

    A: Register your card by scanning the QR code on the iPad at any participating Point Monkey location. You only need to do this once and then you can use the card at any participating location.

  • Q: How do I link my physical card to my phone app?

    A: Simple! Log into the Point Monkey app using the same email address registered to the card then confirm using the link we send you :)

  • Q: Where can I see how many points I have earned?

    A: You can check your points balance in two ways:

    1. Open the PointMonkeyCard app on your mobile phone. Tap "My places" & choose the business you’d like to view your balance for

    OR

    2. Visit the business you’d like to view your balance for , hit the “Tap to Redeem” button on the iPad and scan your QR code to view your balance Soon, you’ll be able to log in and view all sorts of information relating to your Point Monkey account right HERE on the website!

  • Q: Where can I see the rewards offered by each business?

    A: Visit our locations page. Use the map to find a business, click on the pin, then click "View all rewards". On mobile, open the app, tap "Nearby Places", choose the business and then "Rewards."

  • Q: I don't have a Facebook account. Do I need one to use the mobile app?

    A: Absolutely not! That option only exists as a convenience to sign in quicker. Alternatively, you can sign in with your email address.

  • Q: How do I redeem my rewards at a business?

    A: Redeem rewards by scanning your QR code on the iPad. You'll then see a list of all the rewards for that specific business. Tap the reward you’d like to redeem, CONFIRM it, then show it to any employee. Earning more points unlocks more rewards.

  • Q: If I forgot my Point Monkey Card, can I still collect points with my purchase?

    A: You know it! Tap the iPad screen and then select “Forgot my Card” button. Enter your email address and you can still collect points for your purchase, even without your QR code :)

  • Q: Can rewards be redeemed when I check in using my email instead of my QR code?

    A: No, you can only redeem rewards with your Point Monkey Card or app. We're just protecting your account from anyone else who may know your email address!

  • Q: I lost my Point Monkey Card. What now?
